IC&RC UK and SMMGP are discussing collaboration to dually accredit members of FDAP: the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium ‘gold standard’ accreditation is recognised in over 25 countries. A groundbreaking window of opportunity is being developed in the UK for FDAP members to smoothly join IC&RC’s 50,000 global members.

Since 1981, the International Credentialing & Reciprocity Consortium – IC&RC – protected the public by establishing standards and facilitating reciprocity for professionals since 1981. Today, IC&RC represents over 50,000 certified professionals from 78 credentialing and licensing boards worldwide whose reciprocal agreements cover 25 countries, 47 US and territories, and three branches of the US military. Professionals who hold eligible certifications or licences can transfer them between these jurisdictions.

Displaying your certificate prominently and using the logo on professional materials can help you gain greater professional recognition, enhance your reputation and confirm your proficiency.

IC&RC’s credentials include Alcohol and Drug Counsellor (ADC), Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counsellor (AADC), Clinical Superviser (CS), Peer Recovery (PR) and more. To take an exam or earn a credential, click the relevant tab above.

To facilitate FDAP members, special arrangements have been made to welcome you to IC&RC and make the transition easier than it has ever been. A new team of Board members, with long histories of achievements in the drug and alcohol treatment & recovery field, will direct their enthusiasm and energy to your professional progress and wellbeing.
